The 14 feet SD430R is the one of the largest rigid bottom SATURN Inflatable boat available. It is a heavy-duty work boat, great for water rescue, diving or day trips almost anywhere. SATURN SD430R boats have been used by many Fire-Rescue and Emergency departments across the country. 14′ SATURN SD430 boats are made with premium quality materials, and can handle up to a maximum of 7 persons. Heavy-duty SD430 takes up to a maximum 40 HP outboard motor, but will run nicely with a 25 HP motor. As reported by our customers, even with a 15 HP outboard motor and 2 people this boat can plane nice and easy. The SD430 boat is not light, 235 lbs, but even one person can easily move the boat, using only a hand cart that has been placed under the boat’s transom.
SD 430 inflatable boats are made of 1,100 Dtex PVC fabric with polyester support has excellent resistance to tearing, tension and breaking. The 5-layer thick construction’s outer layer, protects the boat against UV rays, ozone and abrasion, and inner layers provide perfect strength and adhesion. Double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. The safety valve will prevent excessive air pressure in the boats chambers.
SD430R Rigid Bottom Floor
14′ Saturn inflatable boats come standard with a rigid bottom, 5 section heavy-duty marine grade plywood floor covered with gray resin. The SD430 boat is a marine rescue/dive boat, and needs to be customized to fit end-user requirements. A central console and/or coolers can be installed directly on the hard floor to provide comfortable seating and easy means of navigation. We recommend our adjustable seating frames for customization projects.

Max O/B Motor means: maximum power of outboard motor that can be safely used to plane the boat loaded to the maximum capacity at normal water surface conditions. Please exercise common sense and caution when using maximum motor capacity. Do not jump from wave to wave as new 4-stroke motors are much heavier then 2-stroke and provide extra strain on the transom. Under normal circumstances, with half the maximum persons/load capacity, 50% of maximum O/B power rating may be necessary to put boat on plane.
